A Big Welcome to Bernie Ryan!
Ferntree Gully Eagles are pleased to announce the appointment of Bernie Ryan as senior coach moving into 2012.
"We're certainly rapt to have someone like Bernie on board," club president Rob Stewart said. "We are looking forward to working with him in 2012 and hopefully beyond as we continue to build the club."
Ferntree Gully Eagles farewelled Brent King as senior coach at the end of the Division 4 finals series.
The club has continued to build over recent years and continues to push for promotion to Division 3 after making this year's preliminary final.

Our history goes back over 100 years; through droughts and depressions, through good times and bad; our club and its people have endured it all. We must take pride in what those who have come before us have done. They have sacrificed so much and without them there is no History of the Ferntree Gully Eagles Football club. They have forged the legacy that is Ferntree Gully - Pride and Passion. Today we wear our jumper with pride and in doing so we will entrench ourselves in the History of this great club.
